JG Smart Systems Ltd collects and processes data as part of its remote monitoring service for agricultural and commercial clients. This policy explains what data we hold, why we hold it, how long we keep it, and your rights over that data.
We are registered with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) under registration number CSN2625865 and process all personal data in accordance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.

Sensor data is stored in a secure database on a Hetzner Cloud server located in Frankfurt, Germany (EU). Access is restricted to JG Smart Systems Ltd. Data is automatically deleted after 365 days.
Client contact details and dashboard credentials are stored on the same server. Your dashboard login shows you only your own sensor data — other clients' data is not accessible to you.
Survey and quote documents are stored on JG Smart Systems Ltd devices and may be sent to you by email (via Google Gmail). Quote PDFs are deleted from our devices once the job is closed.
Payment records and invoices are stored in Google Drive and with our bank (Starling Bank). Google's servers are located in the EU.
All dashboard access is protected by HTTPS. Passwords are never stored in plain text.
Your monitoring data is accessible only to you (via your dashboard login) and to JG Smart Systems Ltd for the purpose of operating and maintaining the service.
We do not sell your data. We do not share your data with third parties except where required by law (for example, HMRC) or where you have explicitly consented.
Our server infrastructure is provided by Hetzner Online GmbH, who process data on our behalf as a data processor under a data processing agreement.

This website does not use tracking cookies or third-party analytics. The only external requests made are to Google Fonts for typography — this means Google receives your IP address when the page loads. No personal data is shared with Google beyond this.
This policy is reviewed annually and updated whenever our data processing activities change significantly. The version number and effective date at the top of this page indicate the current version. Previous versions are available on request.
